Dora The Explorer and BootsDora The Explorer and Boots are a joy to watch on Nick jr television series. Dora the seven year old latino girl does not go any adventures without her best friend Boots. Boots is a furry, fuzzy, five and-a-half-year old monkey who speaks English. He is sweet and caring and loves to hold Dora's hand, following her while they explore. He also loves to make Dora laugh by surprising her. Whenever Boots is feeling down he manages to bounce back with his special triple flips. Boots loves bananas. He also loves baseball and is on a team with Dora as shown in one episode. Boots is friendly and enthusiastic, and usually wears nothing but his beloved red boots, hence his name. Together they solve many problems despite the many obstacles they come across. Whenever the problem is solve Dora does not forget to ask Boots and her viewers what was their favorite part of the day.
