It's back to school again and Dora fans are all excited.

They are happy because in their minds, they are taking Dora the Explorer back to school.

The preschoolers who are going to school for the first time are excited to have the  colorful and cute Dora the Explorer merchandise, while the season campers are ensuring they have a new Dora the Explorer backpack for the coming school year.

I remembered when we bought my daughter's first Dora backpack. It was pink with Dora the Explorer and Boots embroidered at the front. 

To accompany the beautiful bag we bought the Dora and Boots 11 piece school supplies set, Dora sandwich container and lunch bags.

Every school year during the time my daughter was a Dora fan, she chose a different Dora backpack.

This was the only character bag she wanted; we knew how much she loved Dora the Explorer so we obliged.

When the new school year begins, it is almost like the only character that captures the hearts of preschoolers is Dora.

We watched them go off to school with their Dora backpacks strapped to their backs, umbrellas, lunch bags and sneakers.

They are so adorable!

I stopped by my neighbor's house the night before the new school year began. Her five year old daughter was preparing for her big day.

She was surely taking Dora the Explorer back to school and was very excited about it.

She quickly dragged me to her room to show me her new Dora the Explorer clothes , shoes and school supplies.

I thought her mom had out done herself this time. She bought Dora the Explorer school supplies, along with lots of other Dora merchandise.

Sam could not wait to start kindergarten the next day. She was telling me all about the stuff she knew, because she watched Dora the Explorer TV shows. 

Sam was very smart. She knew how to write her name, recognize letters, count from one to twenty in English and Spanish and recite the names of colors in both languages.

I told her mom I would compiled some of Brandy's grammar exercises for her to use, since she was at the right age for introducing English Grammar.
