Dora The Explorer Cake
It was Dora's castle and the art work was phenomenon. I saw quite a few Dora cakes already but this one got the edge.
It was Alana's 4th birthday and she too is a big Dora fan. We did not know what to get her since she had every piece of Dora the Explorer merchandise.
After speaking to her mom we found out she did not have a personalized Dora the Explorer video.
We had the choice of purchasing the Dora birthday video or Dora, Diego and Me.
We finally decided to purchase "Whose Birthday Is It".
We decided not to order the regular Dora cake from the bakery;
instead we
got some Dora
the Explorer clipart and got her to choose the one she
wanted on
the cake. We sent the nice clipart pictures over to the bakery and they
did the
rest.
The cake they produced using the clipart was gorgeous.
Actually
all her little friends did not want her to cut the cake to
spoil it.
Dora's clipart usually features Dora and or Dora and Boots
on an adventure.
She used her imagination and colored each one of them.
After she completed a few she had made up her mind which one she wanted on the cake.
We scanned
the clipart and emailed the image to the bakery.
This was not only unusual, but it was exciting for my daughter to see the drawing she colored has now become the main decoration on her Dora birthday cake.
