Dora the Explorer
Education
From the first time we
watched Dora the Explorer on Nickleodeon, my husband and I referred to
it as "
Dora the Explorer education".
When our children sit in front of the show daily or when they watch
Dora
the Explorer videos they are exposed to loads of knowledge.
This character teaches her fans basic life skills at this tender age,
while improving self confidence.
If your child is a Dora the Explorer fan, rest assure after each
episode she watched, she learned some spanish phrases and her
vocabulary has increase each time.
Dora the Explorer education is measured not only from the episodes on
Nickleodeon but also through many of
Dora
the Explorer toys.
They are many educational toys that carry this logo, making it easy for
parents when they are choosing gifts for their little explorers.
Most preschoolers tend to gravitate towards Dora and Diego and parents
can recognize this from as early as two years old. They see the
excitement even when they are singing
Dora
the Explorer theme song.
Dora the Explorer education includes teaching your
child to count in
Spanish and English, recognizing letters, shapes, colors and learning
different animal names to name a few.
One evening my neighbor invited me over for a cup of tea and some
cinnamon buns, she wanted to tell me about the improvement her daughter
has made.
Sammy is also a Dora fan but was struggling a bit with confidence. She
already knew Brandy's success story so I told her it was only a matter
of time before this was all over.
And so it was…..
With
Dora
the Explorer books and all the episodes she watches, Sammy is
now in a "can do it" mode. She approaches each task with confidence
whether it is academics or her favorite sport, swimming.
Her mom is extremely proud with her progress. She said she saw a
difference in Sammy but she thought it was only her, until she spoke to
Sammy's teacher who is also seeing a change and is very impress.
The teacher reported a confident attitude, participating in class and
eager to ask questions.
We also recommend these free kindergarten activities for your child's learning development.
