English Grammar Exercises
for Kids
People are usually shock at my daughter's grammar skills but I always
tell them it has to do with the numerous
English Grammar
exercises she was exposed to.
When I built Dora the Explorer Adventures I wanted to share my passion
with parents of young children and also what the character did for my
daughter from preschool age and beyond.
For those of you who never had the chance to browse the website, you
may be pleasantly surprise to know that this character "Dora the
Explorer" helped my daughter's confidence and
self-esteem during the start of preschool.
Having her exposed to Dora the Explorer T.V. shows daily and the many
videos we purchased, she is now a confident individual and very
successful in school.
Dora the Explorer videos are structured to put the viewers in a "can do
it mentality". It really motivates them and allows them to understand
despite the hurdle, "We Can Do It!"
Brandy is ten years old and her grades continue to hit the roof. She
was an A student then and it remains that way today.
With this high self-esteem and confidence she is able to overcome any
hurdle that greets her.
When she was five years old, I introduced her to some basic
English
grammar exercises.
I am so proud of the results from these worksheets that I priced the
E-book so that anyone can afford to have a copy for their son or
daughter.

You see, I was also introduced to English Grammar lessons from an early
age. During my elementary school
life a lot of emphasis was on speaking and writing "
proper
grammar".
When I spoke my mother always corrected me, especially if I
did not use the
correct tense or the subject and verb of my sentences were incorrect.
I began by teaching my daughter the basic rules like the correct use of
"a" and "an",
vowels and many more.
Just a couple days ago, I was going through some of Brandy's books she
used during Kindergarten and the early years of Elementary school.
I was looking at the work she had completed and the age she had done
it. It's awesome!
Brandy always wanted to be writing something. From an early
age like most little ones she would have her crayons and paper making
lines and creating her own art.
I would encourage her every step on the way and when she was
finish I would stick it onto the refridgerator for everyone to see.
This made her very happy.
As I sat and reminisced about those days, I thought about the other
boys and girls who have also passed this stage, but their parents maybe
too busy with a nine to five job so they are unable to have access to
fun and educational worksheets.
I thought, why not compile all of Brandy's worksheets in an
attractive ebook so parents can download them to their desktop and have
easy access to them.
I always typed worksheets that will capture her attention.
The type was big and I included colorful clipart depending on
the topic. This stimulates young minds and assists them in
putting a picture of an object to a particular word.
My ebooks consist of fun and colorful worksheets, which will create
special bonding for you and your little one.
The activities are fun and educational. Just think about when they are
watching Dora the Explorer or any other educational show, they learn so
much in half an hour because it captures their attention.
Your child can learn so much from my ebooks and you will decide the
pace.
Each topic introduced has examples that he/she can relate to before
practising the exercise.
Being such a big Dora fan, I always added little inspirational phrases
at the end of the worksheets. I specifically used some of the
ones Dora used on her shows, like "We Did It" and "Yippee"
etc.
These phrases will definitely motivate young children, but let me
warned you, be prepared to sing the "We Did It" song after each
worksheet is completed. :)
