My daughter was a big Dora fan from the age of two to approximately 6 1/2.
We saw the excitement after a couple of episodes of the Dora show. She would get very excited, jumping up and down and singing the Dora theme song.
At preschool the teacher would always let them choose what they wanted to do during activity time.
She said Toni (my daughter) would always choose to color Dora the Explorer coloring pages.
She loved Dora in a special way. She wanted her to be part of whatever she was doing. I even bought Dora books when I introduced her to reading and that was a huge success.
My daughter is 9 years old now and she loves to draw and color. She is very good for her age.
I had a baby girl 6 months ago and she is already hearing the theme song and soon will be watching the episodes on T.V.
This character is great inspiration for preschool boys and girls but I think the little girls would be more interested.
Fay's reply: Dora coloring pages and Dora books are great for preschool activity.
